Swimming: Still my weakest event, as it probably always will be. But I'm consistently getting in 1200-1500 yards in a session, and have finally bumped up to two times a week. I haven't tried all 400 yards at once yet, but I don't think I'm far off from being able to manage it.
Biking: All systems go here! I've only been getting in one ride most weeks, but they're always longer than the 11 miles I need to go for the tri. Yesterday was the longest yet, at 28 (with a break at 22 to run a quick mile). It gets easier each time, and I'm even getting a bit faster. For the section of the ride yesterday where we were riding on bike paths (so without frequent stops), we were going 15-17 mph, and my Garmin recorded my max speed for the day at 25.4 mph.
Running: I've been getting two runs a week in, most a bit longer than the 3 miles I need to run at the tri. I'm actually planning on getting 6 in today (longest in awhile, sadly), once J wakes up this morning. Yesterday was my first time running post-ride. It felt super strange--my legs felt s0rt of springy but weak--but I actually ran the mile faster than I expected, in 8:17. Go figure. It made me feel good about the tri, though. Just need to make it through the swim ...
